We’re going through the boxes. Some of my easiest decisions were what to discard. Some things are just apparent trash. Some items are just outdated, worn, or of no use. The only thing that would cause me to keep some of the things that needed to be discarded was how the item pulled at my heart.
Matthew 11:28 - 30
"28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Sometimes in life, you have to discard the things that I wear you down. In order to keep it moving, you cannot carry baggage with you from place to place. To discard is to lighten your burdens. Jesus said his yoke is easy, and his burden is light. While downsizing and overcoming, it’s easier to put your burdens with him.
